After many years — we're back

It throws
back harder.

Catch-It returns a ball thrown at it at incredible speed. Hand-strung, adjustable and built to last — for cricket, netball and tennis, on your own or as a team.

What it does

A fielding partner that never gets tired.

Catch-It Trainer is a fun tool for the development of skills. It improves hand-eye co-ordination for young children, and accuracy and reaction time for more advanced and professional players.

Throw at it and the ball comes straight back — quicker than you sent it, and often not quite where you expected. Change the angle and you change the drill: high catches, slip catches, flat ground fielding, keeper work.

It works just as well for netball and tennis, which makes it an easy piece of kit for a school or a multi-sport club to justify.

The detail

Built the slow way.

Hand-strung net

Each net is strung by hand, almost like a tennis racket. The tension is what gives it its liveliness and rebound speed — it is not something a machine gets right.

Adjustable return

The return height is quick and easy to adjust, so one trainer covers everything from ground fielding to high catches.

Light and portable

Roughly 900 x 900mm and easy to carry to the field. Use it individually or set it up as a team trainer.

Indoors too

Primarily built for outside use, but it can be adapted for indoor use with the indoor adapter at a small additional cost.

Grows with the player

The effectiveness of the trainer increases as the skill of the user increases. It does not get outgrown after a season.

Lasts for years

The rebound net is durable and will last for many years if treated with the necessary care.

Looking after it: Don't leave the trainer outside in the sun or rain. UV and weather reduce the liveliness and lifespan of the net — bring it in after a session and it will keep its rebound for years.
In the workshop

Strung one at a time.

Frames are powder-coated and stacked, then each net is strung by hand and tensioned before it goes anywhere near a ball.

Set up in seconds on the field, adjusted in a moment, and busy for the whole session.
